A copy of the German made Optimus Electrode Holder – used for heavier duty welding with a slightly more secure level of holding the electrode. Also has the option of inserting the electrode straight at 180 Deg, which makes this perfect for overhead welding.
4 different gripping positions for welding electrodes, spring loaded with bakelite covers to withstand heat. Check for damage or wear & tear regularly (Replace immediately if cracks are observed and spring is worn out). Well priced consumable and easy to replace.
More robust holder which should give you years of use if looked after. Maximum amperage – 300A.
