Aluminium arc electrode 4.00mm for MMA welding of aluminium alloys in field or repair applications where TIG equipment is unavailable. Operates on DC electrode positive. Requires careful pre-heat of base material and dry electrode storage to minimise porosity. Post-weld flux removal by hot water washing is essential. The 4.00mm diameter suits heavier section aluminium repair. Supplied as 2kg pack.
