Description

Lanthanated tungsten electrode (AWS EWLa-1.5, gold band) 1.60mm for DC and AC TIG welding. The lanthanum oxide addition provides excellent arc starting, arc stability, and electrode life comparable to thoriated tungsten while eliminating the radioactive concerns associated with thoriated electrodes. Suitable for welding mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium (AC), and most metals.
