Description

Zirconiated tungsten electrode (AWS EWZr-1, white band) 2.40mm for AC TIG welding of aluminium and magnesium alloys. Zirconium oxide promotes a stable balled tip on AC and provides higher current capacity than pure tungsten. The 2.40mm size is standard for medium to high-amperage aluminium AC TIG. Not recommended for DC applications.
