The E308L-16 electrode is the standard AWS-classified low-carbon electrode for welding 304, 304L, 308, and 308L austenitic stainless steels. Low carbon content limits carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion susceptibility. Suited for fabrication and repair in food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and general stainless applications. The 2.50mm diameter is suitable for all-position welding. AC/DC compatible. Supplied as 2kg pack.
