Description

The E316L-16 stainless steel electrode is an AWS-classified low-carbon electrode designed for welding 316 and 316L grade austenitic stainless steel. The low carbon content minimises sensitisation and risk of intergranular corrosion, making it suitable for chemical, marine, and food processing environments. The 2.00mm diameter is suited for thin-section and root pass welding. AC/DC compatible with a rutile-basic coating for smooth arc characteristics. Supplied as 2kg pack.
