ER316LSi is an AWS-classified stainless steel solid MIG wire with added silicon for improved arc stability and weld bead wetting. The low carbon content of the 316L chemistry minimises sensitisation, making it suitable for chemical processing, marine, and pharmaceutical applications. Requires Ar/2%CO2 or Ar/O2 shielding gas. The 1.00mm diameter suits medium amperage positional and general fabrication work. Supplied on a 15kg spool.
