Description

ER2209 is an AWS-classified duplex stainless TIG wire for GTAW welding of 2205 duplex and similar duplex stainless steels. Produces a balanced austenite-ferrite microstructure for high strength and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting in chloride environments. Requires 100% argon or Ar/2%N2 shielding. 1.60mm diameter, 5kg pack.
