Tig wire aluminium 4043 (5% si) 3.20mm – (5kg)

ER4043 is the most widely used AWS-classified aluminium TIG filler wire, containing 5% silicon to lower the melting point and improve fluidity for easier welding. It is the preferred filler for 6061, 6063, and other 6xxx series aluminium alloys as well as casting alloys. Produces a brighter, cleaner bead than 5356 with reduced tendency to crack. Requires 100% argon shielding with AC TIG process. The 3.20mm diameter suits higher amperage welding on thicker aluminium sections. Supplied as 5kg pack.
