Tig wire aluminium 5356 (5% mg) 1.60mm – (5kg)

ER5356 is an AWS-classified aluminium TIG wire with 5% magnesium content, offering higher tensile strength and superior saltwater corrosion resistance compared to ER4043. The preferred filler for welding 5083, 5052, 5454, and 6061 aluminium alloys used in marine, automotive, and structural applications. Not recommended for applications with sustained elevated temperatures. Requires 100% argon with AC TIG process. The 1.60mm diameter suits thin-section and root pass work. Supplied as 5kg pack.
