ER70S is an AWS-classified mild steel TIG wire suited for GTAW welding of mild steel, carbon steel, and some low-alloy steels. Provides clean, low-spatter deposits with good mechanical properties. The 2.00mm diameter suits medium amperage applications and general fabrication work. Requires 100% argon or Ar/He shielding gas. Suitable for pressure vessels, pipework, and structural fabrication. Supplied as a 5kg pack of cut-length rods.
