Description

The E309L-16 electrode is an AWS-classified low-carbon stainless electrode specifically suited for joining dissimilar metals — particularly 304/316 stainless steel to mild or low-alloy steel. Also used as a buffer layer or cladding on carbon steel. The low carbon chemistry reduces sensitisation risk. The 3.20mm diameter is the standard size for flat and horizontal position welding. AC/DC compatible. Supplied as 2kg pack.
