ER312L is an AWS-classified low-carbon stainless steel TIG filler wire for GTAW welding of 312 and 312L grade austenitic stainless steel. The low carbon content prevents carbide precipitation and maintains corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. Suited for chemical processing, marine, and pharmaceutical equipment. Requires 100% argon shielding. The 2.4mm diameter is ideal for thin-gauge and precision TIG fabrication. Supplied as a 5kg pack of cut-length rods.
