Tig wire s/steel 309l 1.60mm – (5kg)

ER309L is an AWS-classified low-carbon stainless TIG wire formulated for joining dissimilar metals — principally 304/316 stainless to carbon or low-alloy steel — and for stainless cladding on mild steel. Higher chromium and nickel content than 308L provides a safe ferrite level for crack resistance. Requires 100% argon shielding. The 1.60mm diameter suits root passes and thin-section dissimilar welding. Supplied as a 5kg pack of cut-length rods.
